If you ONLY feed them when the weather is cold it can do them more harm than good.

With the snow and colder weather that is forecast please make sure you leave the wild birds enough to eat over this period,nuts,seeds and fat balls are cheap and easy to obtain,also water that is not iced up please.They do need help.

In this weather 75 minutes is enough

I thought that was a myth. I know just lobbing bread out is not good but the fat balls and stuff I thought were OK.

Feed them all year round then they will know where to find food in hard times.

They eat enough of out apples when the weather is good I'm not feeding them anything else!!!

No, it's because they learn to expect to find food in your garden.

The birds in my back garden are going bananas today seeing more shy species loading up so cold spell is deffo going to last a while.
