I imagine climate change will do for us rather than war. The desire for economic growth at all costs (in this case, the cost of the planet's well-being) in the West makes no sense at all but is what the voters of so-called democracies will always prioritise over sensible long-term policies, while the geriatric dictators don't care.

Still, a win at Bramall Lane next Sunday and we'll all feel better.
