The manner in which MA supporters are trying to paint this as the fans' fault is laughable. We are 21st in the League, two points away from safety, after finishing 7th last season. How is that in any way acceptable to anyone, from DK to the fans?

A couple of people on the board are also suggesting that if we are relegated now it will be all the boards' fault (rather than MA). I'm not quite sure how that figures given our current position.

If you think a few polls and derogatory posts on here were sufficient to get Adams out then you really don't get out much. I would think that the directors of the club might just have been a little more concerned about us being in the relegation places and with falling gates with season ticket renewal time coming around than the insane blatherings of a few keyboard managers on here.

Or do you really think they had a conversation along these lines:

Board: 'Things are looking bleak. We're 3rd from bottom and only got 5K for the home match with Peterborough'
Knight: 'We really should give Micky a bit more time to let the new players settle in'
Board: 'OK then. Oh hang on, some bloke called Walt Jabsco has posted a witty thread on NSC that says Adams should go'
