The annual thread for the miserly, miserable and mean spirited so and so's to vent their frustration and anger.

Bollox. Not miserly or miserable at all, just don't like all the Halloween bullsh*t. If the little sweet deprived kiddies can be bothered to make a decent Guy Fawkes and present it on November 5th. they will be suitably rewarded.

Kids today have no initiative. What do they think supermarket trolleys are for?
:)

Oh yes, why not ?

Roll on Bonfire Night;.....an estimated 4500 people/kids attended A & E last year from firework injuries.

And the kids can use their initiative on that night doing....ermmm....?

All at the minute cost of an estimated £40,000,000.00. Money well spent I say.

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyy......

We’ve got our good friends Polly and Giles coming over for a Halloween party on. Saturday but we’ve got nothing special planned for the big day today apart from a Halloween themed tea and then a horror movie this evening.

You should be celebrating though; this is 'die in a ditch day'. Tomorrow I intend to exercise all my new freedoms.

Bonfire night has never been the same since they banned Bangers and Jumping Jacks.

That’s what half term was for. Getting cash from Penny for the Guy to buy fireworks, then Chucking bangers, flicking flare matches and making genies. I cringe now but it was fun,

Oh and firing rockets from milk bottles

Don’t understand some of these replies. All Hallows’ Eve is very much a British thing exported to the US by the pilgrims and celebrated universally since.

I’m 39 and we always donned the costumes and trick or treated as kids so as far as I’m concerned it’s always been a thing here.

We took our nearly two year old out tonight with one of the neighbours kids and everyone loved it.

Another idea popularised by the US but born in the UK

As long as scantily clad totty like this keeps turning up at the Halloween Parade in New York I really don't have a problem with Halloween

The traditional annual miserable **** thread. I enjoy this so much more now the annual pride binfest is a shadow of it's former bigoted self.

I'm 66 and I can't remember anybody particularly making a fuss about Halloween when I was a kid.

I like Halloween and I love to see the kids enjoying themselves, but then hey, I'm just a really cool, fun-loving kinda Guy.

I have never recognised Halloween as it is an American idea that has overtaken the British public and dont those people on This Morning look ridiculous.
