Well?

Is it a religious festival or just a bit of extra paid leave?
A chance for more family time, a gorging of loads of chocolate.
Do you bemoan that festive eggs are no longer called Easter eggs?
The first roast lamb of the year?
A footie bonanza?
Trying to take a break or see family when the roads are rammed and there are no trains?

What does it mean for you?

That simply is not true.

Anyway, roast lamb, chocolate and wine for me today. Rude not to.

We've been doing the Good Friday walk since we were kids, just a stroll up the river to Bramber for lunch, but a sizeable group of friends and family just appear from wherever they may be. Always a pleasant day, whatever the weather.

Other than that just a few days off.

Family catch up, roast lamb and chocolate. This year the added bonus of the usual walk on the beach being in beautiful sunshine. Happy Easter !

Got all the kids back today which is great - sadly first Easter without my parents. Also annoying that my step-daughter doesn't like lamb so we have gammon instead but other than that .... THIS ^^^^

Easter is the one time of the year when the Christian clergy get airtime, and listening to them reinforces my secular beliefs.

I would normally agree 100% but the Arch Bish is planning on doing a take down of Patel today so I’ll be paying some attention. He knows she has the devil in her.

West is BEST
First Easter off in a few years so this year it means;

Lie in
Cooked breakfast
Long walk with friends
Long lunch with friends that turns into a session
Quick w@nk
Off to bed

This year it means;
Quick w@nk

And this is the problem with the over commercialisation of Easter.

So this year; once you’ve found your rhythm, once your tongue is hanging out with your eyes crossed and the mouth producing a low, steady and consistent
hum-like groan. Switch off your normal wankbank content and think of the Christ. Hanging resplendent on his bondage climbing frame and naked ‘cept for his giant fetish nappy. He glances over at you, there is a wink, a dart like flick of the tongue and then pop, your Easter work is done.
