Don't know where this thread came from but, this year, for the first time after years of thinking mashed neeps and tatties had no texture, I altered it a bit.

Mini roast potatoes, and creamed neeps (which is swede in any other language :rolleyes:). Crush the potatoes into the mashed neeps, together with some some herbs and garlic, and blast them for 10 mins in a hot oven.

Never been a lover of whisky, but a couple of shots into a reduced chicken stock and Robert is your Auntie's live in lover. Every year onward in Chez Wz :thumbsup:
