Luke Nicoli needs to learn basic maths. 2024-1901 = 123.
I thought he was referring to the anniversary not the number of years that the club has been in existence unless I’m missing something? (ie on my 18th Birthday, even though I have only been alive for 17 years, it’s still my 18th Birthday EDIT no it would be my 17th 🙄)

Do you think that by the 150th anniversary BHAFC will still be in the Premier League?

Unless you are from South Korea where you are age 1 when born, and gain a year in age every Jan 1st.
Bit like a racehorse then, whose age goes up by a year every Jan 1st. So horses born in Jan have a big advantage in the early years because they are much more developed for a race restricted to a fixed age group (like the Derby)

And aging birds - who are aged by ornithologists every 1st January by one calendar year, so they are already in their 2 calendar year when less than 12 months old

(Would it help if I claim to be a racehorse from S.Korea 😎)

Probably just easier to admit to an early start on the booze.

My step dad’s grandfather, Tommy White, is in the team pic on the Albion’s website - the first known pic of us in the stripes.
He was the first Albion player to score wearing the stripes when playing in the pre-season practice match Stripes v Whites.

Were you allowed bottles in the stadium back then?

No bottles, but it was obligatory for every adult (typically male, but not exclusively) to carry in a keg barrel of beer.
