The replays showed that the ball definitely changed direction after hitting Murray's knee. Not 100% it would have gone in otherwise.

Yes, I agree, it would have gone wide, but it had bounced up from his knee to his arm, it would've changed direction again.

The only trouble using that screen shot as an example, is a small part of Murray's arm is covered by the ball. Therefore the ball is quite clearly in front of Murray on that angle so has already passed him and can't have hit his arm.

Unless the ball is travelling in the other direction. Obviously.
