Hampshire Hawks v Sussex Sharks 20/20

Barrel of Fun

Abort, retry, fail
That actually shows how much Sussex are taking the piss with this competition. Hampshire you can bring some beer in and the tickets seem to be £12. At Hove you cannot bring alcohol in and on the door tickets are around the £25 mark.

You can understand their stance though. Most teams have bigger venues, particularly the likes of Hants and we are losing £300k a year. Twenty20 is the big money spinner but not for us :(

Sussex admitt that 20/20 is a decent source of income, but the prices are getting to the point where people will not bother. Coupled with the fact they are not offering cash refunds for Sunday's abandoned game, I would say people are not overly happy with the situation.

Spot on.

One of the reasons I wasn't going to go last sunday is Sussex' refund policy, or a disgraceful lack of it. What if I'm unable to go again this season? It's at least 15 notes down the swanny. It was the same last season after the 4 team 20/20 thing against Glamorgan was called off. No refund but free entry into the first CC game for one day, which is a f***ing fat lot of good when you're working full time and live in Southampton

Much as I hate the 'Aaaaaampshire bumkins, at least they've got the good grace to give a full refund if less than 10 overs are played

Chill Winstaaan. According to the weather forecast, the gloom is supposed to clear by 6ish to leave a clear night. Ok, it was the BBC cow-watch, but I'm still optimistic

Oh, and I've got a couple of Westons Vintage :lolol:

Do they have a big WATERHOG thingy, or do they just dress Warney in towelling and roll him around the outfield?
