Can you take booze into the Rose Bowl for Cricket for Simp, sorry 20/20 games?

The County Ground have banned it for the last 2 seasons of this competition.

Up to 4 cans of beer/ale/cider or a bottle of wine

That actually shows how much Sussex are taking the piss with this competition. Hampshire you can bring some beer in and the tickets seem to be £12. At Hove you cannot bring alcohol in and on the door tickets are around the £25 mark.

Their hands were tied though. Shane Warne said he wouldn't play if he couldn't bring beer with him.

Indeed.

Hampshire have thought long and hard about how they market 20/20. We live close to The Rose Bowl and we had a 'Rose Bowl Newsletter' round earlier in the year asking for feedback on the Rose Bowl 'experience'.

As a result, 20/20 games kick off at 7.30, giving the working population plenty of time to get there (it was 5.30), the drinking regulations have been relaxed and although it is still a nightmare to get in and out of, they are working really hard to sort out the transport problems.

They also do 'buy one get one free' offers for local residents for some of the events, as a 'thank you for putting up with all the problems'.

Good work.
