Both poor again tonight . Caskey last season showed more in the 5 or 6 games last season than these two have in 20 games so far this season.

Caskey had 1 good game last season and has been hit and miss in a League 2 side. If you think he's the answer, you're wrong - Gus doesn't like attacking mid fielders who can't defend.

I though Hammond had one of his better games to tonight. JFC isn't the answer. Yet.

Hammond was f***ing quality tonight. Are you mental? Lopez, Hammond and obviously KLL were all excellent. The rest were average at best, with the steaming brown pile of icing on the cake being CMS who was embarrassing

Hammond was just usual Hammond; he probably looked better because he was in a very poor overall team performance.

Hammond was decent, steaming in with a few challenges and moving around the pitch. Crofts I find to never be in the right place and he takes on CMS for cackest touch sometimes. Hammond the right one to keep in the side by far.

Playing Hammond and Crofts together is like England playing Lampard and Gerrard together. Players that are too similar to each other, much better when played separately.

I would nearly have picked Hammond as man of the match. He looks like our utility player. I knew we had to play him because of the height in the Millwall team.

Hammond had a good game, some people just have rocks in their head and think everyone in our midfield should be playing like Gerrard!

In sure it was him that put in that last ditch tackle which was immense.

Yes you're right it was superb from where I was in the north.

Hammond was outstanding and should be captain and with Bridders, one the first names on the team sheet.

Completely agree. I don't know what game some people were watching last night. I thought he could have been given MOM over KLL.

Hammond looks like a good signing at the moment. Re-signing Crofts on a 3 year contract looks like a huge mistake. He looks a shadow of the player he was before (first half Saturday aside) and even then most Brighton fans thought £300k from Norwich was good business.

Hammond was OK overall, nothing special though. But the block he made in the second half in our penalty box was absolutely top drawer, commitment wise.

Dean Hammond puts me in mind of a ship pulling away from a dock as he sets out on a run.

The Titanic? Nearly reaches his destination then clatters into an obstacle and sinks nose down?

Or the Marie celeste? Mysteriously found wandering aimlessly with no visible sign of life?

Or the Bismark? Rudderless and sailing in ever decreasing circles until he is overwhelmed by the enemy and self destructs?
