Half price at £21 on DVD from Amazon:

All thirteen programmes from the TV series in one pack. 'The House That Bled To Death', 'The Silent Scream', 'The Two Faces Of Evil', 'The Mark Of Satan', 'Witching Time', 'Visitors From The Grave', 'Rude Awakening', 'Charlie Boy', 'Children Of The Full Moon', 'The Thirteenth Reunion', 'The Carpathian Eagle', 'Guardian Of The Abyss' and 'Growing Pains'

I can't be the only 30-something on here who has fond memories of this classic 80s series. If you'd seen 'The Two Faces of Evil' as a kid you wouldn't forget it in a hurry. Classic British horror.

I have been watching these recently on ITV3 (i think).

I used to stay up late and watch them with my Mum when they first came out.

The ones i remembered were the The House that bled to Death, all that "blood" coming out of the pipes etc

The episode with the mirror and the Children of the full Moon.

Fantastic viewing:clap2:

For some reason the one about 'Charlie Boy' gave me nightmares for ages

I think it was probably actor Michael Deek's blond perm that did that Spiros. Him taking that crossbow bolt in the stomach lives in the memory.

What was the one with Suzanne Danielle in? All i can remember was she used to pick up men, take them back to hers, get them on the bed, tie them up and announce "are you ready" then plunges a kitchen knife into them.

Scary stuff:eek:

Yeah I think that was the one where she used to eat raw liver from the fridge.

Pierce Brosnan was in one episode apparently.

What was worse for me was the knowing expression on the doll's face whenever something unpleasant happened.

Silly as it may sound, quite a few years after seeing that episode my Dad gave me a tribal mask that he bought from a road-side seller in South Africa. The wife doesn't like it and wants me to get rid of it, but I can't bring myself to because I'm afraid it might do a 'Charlie Boy' on me.

The Silent Scream is the best one.

One I remeber most vividly (bearing in mind I was very young and only managed to stay up and watch them as my Broher babysat me) was one where there was a hitchhiker on the edge of the road (cue Thunder and lightning) all dressed in yellow waterproofs. Later on he popped up and tried to drag the woman out of the car and he had a really slimey mouth.

Or did I dream it????

Was there one (Or was it from a similar series) where there was a family trapped inside their house where blood kept coming in through the cracks in walls etc and the house was really heating up?

At the end you saw that it was actually a dolls house and the afmily were dolls and the house had been left near the fire and a candle or something had melted creating hte blood?

Scared to poop out of me as a child whatever it was.

Yeah, that was 'The Two Faces Of Evil' where a family stop to pick up a hitchhiker and he has a claw or something for a hand. I can never drive along the C7 (overhanging, tree-lined road between Newhaven and Lewes) without being reminded of that episode.

I had very fond memories of this series and bought the box set when it came out. I was disappointed, to say the least, and it went straight to eBay.

One or two of the episodes were alright, but the majority of them were utter rubbish. It hasn't aged well at all. I wouldn't bother if I was you.

Watched an episode the other night where an ex-con gets a job feeding a blokes (peter cushing?) pet lions and stuff. He then picks a safe and falls down a hole.
Anyone know what happens in the end?
