Following up on this, I actually went for the Princes Marine Best Western and for 54 quid a night its not half bad at all. Room is probably 3x the size of the one in the Preston Park; theres a (tiny) free car park and free net... and I haven't heard a floor creak or seen some damp patches like the Preston Park either!
