Mixed race fella who banged in 4 (i think) on his debut for Birmingham on loan. Under 21 too. Isn't he Norwegian?

Would be very happy if he was brought in as the striker Oscar mentioned.

Does someone else want to or shall I?

I was only thinking about this sort of thing the other day

how when I was a nipper,I could name the entire teams of most 1st division clubs let alone the Albion's

I haven't even heard of West Brom's new manager or Fulham's???

I now remember being impressed that he had scored four on his Birmingham debut and thinking why can't we sign somebody like that. Then I changed the channel over and my razor-sharp brain immediately forgot his name, how many he'd scored and what team he was playing for.

Going for 'yes, a little' as I forgot it was him that scored 4 against Birmingham. One of thew few FLShow programmes I've watched. Since 12pm I've googled the shit out of him.

I've heard of him a few times. I can't believe so many people are saying they haven't when he was mentioned loads after scoring 4 goals for brum and got top reviews from the united pre season tour. And I just follow sports apps as I'm in Denmark!

Nope! But I from what I've read during the past two hours, I'm excited about the prospect of having this man for 93 days!

Jesse Lingard is a Manchester United starlet, plays for the England U-21s and casually scores 4 (four) goals on his league debut.

But, had you ever heard of him before today?

No, but that's not surprising as I think only Upson in the present squad is a player I knew about before joining us.
In the management team I remember Nathan Jones when he played for us.

4 (FOUR) GOALS for the Brums first game who would not prick their ears up, thought at the time we could do with one like that
be careful what you wish for

Only vaguely knew the name because he scored 4 goals on his Brum debut.

I only picked up on him at the start of the season, as i was trawling through pre-season friendlys for a football fix and three games in a row, United played Jauniza and Lingard, all the reviews seemed to be raving about them both, then was suprised to find out Lingard was English, thought he would be some Danish under 18 so kept an eye on him and then was a little worried after he scored 4 for Brum on his debut.

We have a hamster called 'Ling'. This nearly explains why my knowledge of this player was entirely unrelated to the hamster.

That'll be me. My football diet consists of the following...

Albion (live) - 90%
MotD2 - 7%
Football League Show - 2% (generally fast forward to us, but occasionally watch other Championship stuff)
Everything else - 1%
