Grange Hill's Mrs McLuskie for NSCers of a certain age.

Trod the boards at the Connaught Theatre early in her career.

A kids TV icon RIP

Also great as Greg Davies' mum in Man Down. It was strange for people of my generation to see Mrs McLuskey married to Rik (He spells it with a silent 'P').

Ooh no. Also remember her as Frost's bit.

Lived in Hurst didn't she?

RIP.

Doesn't Mr Hopwood live in Brighton (or, at least, used to)? Makes you think that Sussex is a home for Grange Hill alumni and I'm going to bump into Bullet Baxter when I go into town

Colbourne Road in the 80s I believe, and a regular customer at Waitrose.

I worked with her husband, Alan, for some time. They lived in Hassocks if I recall correctly.

Everyone remembers her, and probably knew a similar teacher.

We saw her as a teacher and not an actor. Such was her capability.

RIP

RIP. Part of my childhood and always strange seeing her in Waitrose Burgess Hill over the last few years.

Yes or at least she used to….I did some pruning work on a tree in her and her husbands back garden many years ago …lovely lady and her husband, what a great loss he must be feeling.

..had a really grand downstairs loo…decorated with posters from London theatre land.

RIP the lovely lady
