Calde had a hip problem this time last year when he re-signed with us. There was a clause to say his contract would be terminated after 6 months if he hadn't fully recovered otherwise it was a 3 year contract. Therefore if there was a medical problem with LuaLua a clause is easily inserted into the negotiations.
Like Marshy I think it is nitty-gritty stuff like sell on percentages with Newcastle that is holding things up.
