And it's all gone quiet..
Soon to be 6th
Martinez moves aside. Now up to 6th.
I wonder if by the time this suspension nonsense is sorted out he will have moved into the top five.
And people question the loyalty he has shown or has been given......
when i originally added the list to this thread i didn't realise it was the kiss of death:
For the start of 2013/14 season, its likely to look like this:
Alex Ferguson 26 years, 182 days GONE
Arsène Wenger 16 years, 218 days
David Moyes 11 years, 54 days GONE
Tony Pulis 6 years, 327 days GONE
Paul Tisdale Exeter City 6 years, 315 days
Greg Abbott Carlisle United 4 years, 185 days
Chris Wilder Oxford United 4 years, 137 days
Nigel Clough Derby County 4 years, 119 days
Roberto Martínez Wigan Athletic 3 years, 326 days GONE
Gus Poyet 3 years, 178 days Likely to go?!?!?!
Rberto Mancini 3 years, 139 days GONE
Mark Yates Cheltenham Town 3 years, 136 days
Pat on the back for Exeter, Carlisle, Oxford who have shown incredible faith in their managers.
There was an article in When Saturday Comes this month (or last month?) about Greg Abbott's reign at Carlisle. The fans don't seem to agree that the club deserves a pat on the back for sticking by him, as they seem to stumble on between Leagues 1 and 2 with no ambition. Not once since he's been manager have they won three games in a row.
Oscar is already beating Gus on this table...
Oscar is not a manager remember so does he even get on the list.
Although we do now have the 92nd longest serving manger/head coach in the football/premier league!
