BensGrandad;5619763 Surprised somebody hasnt sugested he should be at Worthing watching the DS in the cup semi final to see if anyone is ready for a call up on Saturday.[/QUOTE said:
That was said tongue in cheek and not meant to be a serious suggestion from me but I thought somebody would suggest it.

A very important game for our DS? Really?

Maybe he signed a contract with ITV and has to do a certain number of games? DS games aren't normally Thursdays.

It's not Barcelona, I agree, but given the fact it's the youngsters biggest game of the season it would be more beneficial for him to keep tabs on them.

It's possible he does have a contractual commitment, then fair enough.

Pork pie land.
What the **** is he doing on telly with such a big game around the corner.

Very true. All about his profile I guess?

Hardly round the corner to nip their after his day job either is it?

Does not even have his Chelsea connection - so why did he even get the gig?

As he has been quiet about Brighton except post match interviews, since Palarse, it is all very strange.

No it isn't he is our Manager and needs to make sure we are as prepared as possible for Saturday - two days away! Or will he leave that to Charlie Oatway? lol

Kent to London can be done in 40mins on the train. Probably a bit more in a car. Does your employer let you do things in your spare time?

Some of the bed wetters on here are hilarious

Yep, because the team often train on a Thursday night. Gus then tucks in each player and reads them a bedtime story.

Well, how should I know? I assumed he was at least at the match.

Why would I want to watch that shite?

But let's not pass up an opportunity to have a pop at Gus eh?

So your defence is that you didn't know, yet that didn't stop you basing a silly rant on an assumption which proved incorrect.

Excellent work.
