Did not like all the chat on TalkSport where they were bigging Gus up and saying that he is worth a punt for someone in the Prem. Gus will go of course, but would like to see what he can do here before he does. One or even two more seasons to prove he is not a flash in the pan would underpin his creds as a manager for the rest of his career.

He won't go anywhere until season 2012/2013 at the earliest. He will do at least one season at the Amex. Even then he will only move if Tony Bloom hasn't backed him in the transfer market (unlikely scenario) or if a Top 10 Premiership side came knocking (possibililty, but unlikely unless we excel in the Championship).

Loved watching Goals on Sunday yesterday, a very frank interview and I loved when Strachan said he wanted a job and asked Gus if he needed a kit man.

I liked when they asked the two of them what you do when your team is losing, and Strachan said "what would he [Gus] know, they've only lost once! They lose a game they go and win the next ten!"
