Ooohh you could have a love off in the Plaza!

How about a blind date show? - Vicente one side of the screen with 20,000 contestants on the other side - might take a bit time to get through all the questions though......

To all the idiots from other clubs, that I've slagged off for coming here and calling me gay etc...

I take it back, maybe you were right all along.

Watched the Pompey highlights which are also linked on that page - "Portsmouth had enough chances to stop extending their winless run" comment near the begining of the commentary. Really? Sky stats show 0 shots on target. Very odd bit of commentary.

Really didn't like the way Guillem Balague said about Gus nearly joining Wolves when Revista De La Liga played that interview. He had a wry smile that suggested it was very close to happening. Anyone else see it?

Yeah but as we know, TB knocked them back with a £2m offer or f*** off, so never even got anywhere near Vicente. Guillem talking shit and when he mentioned Poyet will manage in the Premiership, I shouted "YEAH, with Brighton!".:D

Guillem isn't the type to spout rubbish in my opinion which is why the way he said it surprised me somewhat. Probably reading too much into it though!

Go back 5 years. Someone says to you Gus Poyet will be your mananger, your new stadium is nearly full every home match, you beat Newcastle and Sunderland in the cup, and you play Liverpool twice. You will be 5th place in the Championship, and Vicente Rodriguez from Valencia will be playing for Brighton, because he preferred Brighton over everyone else, and you sign a striker called Craig Mackhall Smith for 2.5 million. I think most of us would have laughed our faces off. That just shows you how far we have come. Its scary, but brilliant.

If I was planning on opening a tapas bar in Brighton this year I'd definitely call it Plaza Vicente

100% this - i have spent this week thinking about Vicente just can't concentrate on anything else . Telling work colleagues how amazing is, keep mentioning his name to the wife - I have decided to give in and admit I love him!!

This. I was e-mailing a work colleague about him. The words Valencia, winning la Ligue, £35m bid..............it was if I was in some kind of parallel unviverse and any moment would wake up to remember that Jamie Morralee was leading the attack.

I remember thinking when it was announced that Gus was going to be our manager that exciting times were ahead and a real sense of optimism. I watch his first game in charge against Southampton on the TV and he just looked the part, a class above anyone else we had. I had no idea at the time that things would turn out as perfect as they have, but I certainly haven’t felt let down.

I remember during the game, we were playing at 100mph, and you could see Gus gesturing to all the players, as if to say "slow down, breathe, BREATHE"!!!
