After last night's game......" Peter was very good, he's had a very good month "
He may have had a good game last night but a very good month!!!!
Excuse me Gus but he was poor against Millwall and his performance at Liverpool defied belief, it was so bad. The trouble is we never know what Brez is going to turn up. When he is good, he is pretty impressive but when he is bad, he is diabolically bad.
A good keeper is reasonably consistent with just the odd error. They don't fall to pieces and collapse completely. They should command and control their area and inspire confidence. I always feel watching Brez that there is a mistake waiting to happen.
If ever there was a time to bring back Ankergren it was last night. It didn't happen, so he now looks frozen out. Gus is showing no willingness to blood Gonzalez yet and the other two aren't up to it. So it looks like we have got Brez til the end of the season. Strap yourselves in for a bumpy ride.

As it should be. He's our best keeper.

Brezovan was man of the match, I'd argue that Poyet got that decision 100% right. I was in favour of resting Brezovan too if it helps.

He has had two poor games, Millwall and Liverpool, and the rest of the time has been very good.

I'm delighted he returned to form last night and fair play to Gus for showing faith in Brez and having that faith repaid immediately.

Would have been so much better if he had come out and told him he was shit the last few games  would it have boosted the confidence of our keeper?

It's called man management and a very important part of the managers job.

people call for gonzalez to play but have any of you actually seen him play? He's no better than brezovan nd brez can use his height to take crosses. In Brez we trust!

I just wish he would take crosses more often!

I'm still of the belief that a more experienced keeper will be amongst the priorities for next season. This season is just testing the water with a lot of the squad from League One and by Gus's loans we have seen that some of them clearly haven't made the step up. Close season should be interesting.

Would be interesting to see if Gonzales really is up for it or not or we are waisting money on wages

Brez has had a great two months bar Liverpool. What did he do wrong at Millwall? Wasn't his fault Navs booted the ball back into his own bloody area.
