If Gus even considered going to a club that was in such decline as Portsmouth over a club who has a good chairman, state of the art stadium on the horizon (in more than one way) and support that will double when we move in..........i for one would not want him as manager, say goodbye and good riddance.*

*99% sure he would not consider them but someone else......Leeds ect.....Chelsea.....in the future....well...good luck to him then, it would indicate he had done a good job with us and could go little further with the club:clap:

He is capable of taking us to the Premiership with Falmer generating more money for transfers.

I hope he stays long enough to see it happen

If Gus tries to sign for Pompey I will personally drive round there and kick some f***ing sense back into his head. Pompey are on a long slide, it would be suicide to go there. Plus it would mean listening to that twat with the bell every other week and I am pretty sure that Gus has more sense than that.

Harry Redknapp 66/1?? Steve Claridge 33/1?? Alan Pardew 22/1??

I know there all long odds but someone's got to be having a laugh even putting those names in.

I would have wanted 66/1 for Redknapp to go back to Pompey when he was at Southampton!.Never bet against old baggy-face.

Gus will stay......he understands that creating "track record "ie cv is very important to reach his ambitions.......a 25 goal forward would help.....him and ( us )....

It will either be someone desperate for a job

Or

Someone from a lower club with little potential and the manage thinks he is too big for the club he is currently at and, let's face it, any success he can bring Pompey will go down as the managers incredible ability.

They are a sinking ship. We could see both Pompey and Palace relegated next season and then we won't even be here to play them!

Paul Ince is in both those categories..

Have Pompey actually interviewed Gus? It's not very clear that artical.

According to Gus he's had no contact. Bearing in mind Gus's views on Calderon he would be a bit of a hypocrite to jump ships and I doubt that he is. Anyway, Ince has a higher profile and just why did Cotterill walk away from Notts County ?
