Albion’s own cheerleaders
Brighton and Hove Albion will be getting extra support this season from their own cheerleaders. Gully’s Girls will be strutting their stuff on the touchline at Withdean Stadium before every home game and dancing at half-time. They also have the all-important task of cheering the players on to the pitch at the start of the match. Ten girls have already been recruited to join new mascot Gully, a giant seagull, to help entertain the Withdean crowd but the group is looking for another ten. Anyone over 16 interested in joining, should contact organiser Sally-Ann Bates through the club on 01273 695400.
