I was sorry to see the end of Gully's Girls. Not that they were spectacularly good at what they did, but they were having fun, it was costing the club next to nothing, it was mildly entertaining and it generated goodwill.
And then along comes Barber.
I seem to recall at the time that he said that Gully's Girls would be replaced with alternative pre-match & half time entertainment. Well, apart from that shocking "street dance crew" and a couple of turns by the very good opera lass, Barber has given us nothing. I've said it before and doubtless I'll be saying it again,
