No! well, you can check with my PA to see if I'm available ;)

why do people have this fixation with simulations and pretend . . .why dopn't people try and do things for real ? you don't have to excel at anything for real to get satisfaction from it, be it sport, music or whatever.

yeah i can see it now

ps2 release new game titled :buy a guitar each and sit in a room for hours attempting to learn a song.

sounds much more fun.

why play pro evo? just kick a ball to yourself in a room. much better

I think that just about sums up why this country has a generation or more of unimaginitive, lazy, uncultured plebians.

lazy? playing a normal guitar is not better for your fitness than playing a fake one. some people dont want to learn an instrument but want to have fun with there freinds. hence GAMES.

Yes but its fun! People who bought Singstar dont profess to be able to sing at all as with the majority of people who do karioki, its just have a go stuff.

I am about to refine my voice by having professional singing lessons and I must speak to Justine about learning a grounding in piano....you could always teach me ace of spades on a guitar...:lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

People, calm down: playing computer games is great fun. Playing the guitar is great fun, and surprisingly piss-easy. Playing the guitar along to dumb old records is brilliant fun. Combining the three things might be a bit clunky but so what?

I'm a bit disappointed that that the mechanics of that game don't seem to bear a close resemblance to how you actually play the guitar but they've made it more of a "dance mat on frets" than anything else, I guess. Chill.

My mate who is a pretty good amateur rugby player ( Moseley) recons the dance mat thing was better at a fitness programme than the treadmill.

When the lads were recovering from injury, the coaches used to put it on for fun, but they ended up really enjoying it and it gave them a very good workout, both physically and mentally, seemly

yes I am actually ( grumbles into cardigan )

I just don't do games, I see them as a waste of time when theres so me much real stuff to do. why drive a simulated car round a simulated track when you can drive a real one round a real track with a little bit more effort and input, likewise football, music or anything, I mena simulated fishing, what a load oif f***ing tosh!
Just my opinion and I think I've achieved quite a lot as a consequence of not playing games.

Dave, PM J and I'll teach you ace of spades after you've learnt some Joanna . . .when I've leearnt it myself of course

Mine was delivered yesterday

awesome.

Bloody difficult though. I have failed 3 times on Smoke on the Water, but Boston song is brilliant to do.

My youngest ( 17 Y O) is bloody annoyingly good at it allready

Not yet Wozza. I'm going to order it from Woolies when I get my arse into gear and wander up there one lunchtime (got £50 in Woolies vouchers to spend). They'll do home delivery for £1.50, so that'll SNORT it.

There's loads of videos of it on YouTube.com, looks absolutely mint.

And your posts just about sum you up. Someone has a hobby that you don't agree with so you go off in full abusive rant mode. I'd rather hang around with geeks than people like you - they tend to be more enlightened, open to diversity and less likely to judge.
