OUT OF CONTRACT

Kuipers - Released
Virgo - Unsure but will go for 1 year deal
Hart - Released
Forster - Released
Cox - Released
Calderon - 3 year deal
Brezovan - 2 year deal
Hawkins - Released
Carole - Released (although possibly another short term deal)

OUT ON LOAN - Listed? 3 points for correct answer, -3 if you guess and get it wrong, no guess = 0 points

Dickinson - Transfer listed (fee)
Whing - Transfer listed (free)
Davies - Transfer listed (free)
McNulty - Back in squad
Jake Wright - Transfer listed (free)

Youngsters - Jamie SMith, Steve Cook, Grant Hall, Josh Pelling, Steve Brinkhurst (not fair to list these induvidually, 5 points is you guess out of 5 correct how many will be retained)

Probably keep 2 (Cook and Smith at a guess)

I also think Glenn Murray will be offered a new deal and then transfer listed if he doesn't sign it as we don't want to lose him on a free next summer. I imagine we will try to sign Painter, Lua Lua, Hendrie and Barnes permanently but not sure how likely it is.

It does slightly concern me that a couple of fans would prefer to keep Hart and release Forster - How many goals has Hart scored this season?? - Thankfully Gus makes the decisions

If Leeds choke again , Muzza could be one of their potential targets and if the price is right (over £750k minimum) he'll be off.

Indeed - assuming (hoping) he signs I reckon we will sell McNulty

Not sure... If we buy Painter (which I hope we do) we will need a quality left back. As these last 3/4 games have proved, one decent LB isn't good enough. Hoyte is really poor at RB, worse at LB.

People go for Hart over Forster because Hart cares about Albion Forster about Family Forster. Plus Forster is likely IMO to get an offer from Charlton that will exceed anything we want to offer. Gus appears to prefer Hart over Forster by the amount of times he threw on Mr reliable/versatile towards the end of games as oppossed to Forster when they were both on the bench.

OGH offers more versatile Back up to the mainstay strikers and midfield (and in emergency fullbacks) than Forster ever could.

And NO No No I am not biased towards OGH in any way.

I think that the reason people have not mentioned either Murray or Painter is because neither comes into either catergory that the thread was about being neither out of contract this season or sent out on loan by us.

I hope that we sign Painter and am slightly concerned as to whether or not Poyet rates Murray sufficiently to be our major goal source next season or whether he will chase another 1 or 2 proven goal, scorers

Forster cares about Albion I'm sure of that - Bring on Forster Or bring on Hart no question - Forster all the way - he has more goals in him and is a far better quality player than Hart

Ask yourself one thing - what has Hart done and how many goals has he scored since Micky brought him back after he was correctly released in 2008 and what has Nicky brought to the team?? - without some of Forsters goals over the past few seasons we could well have been relegated - Forster for me all the way!!!

No-one knows what really went on with the contract saga but all i will say is how many "Issues" does this club have over contracts??

In fairness, I would release both players but Gary Hart played a major part in keeping us up last year setting up a number of goals for Owusu in that late run, hence earning his contract for this season.
