I would just like to point out to the ignorant yanks, you didn't win the war in Europe, the Soviets did.

Pretty predictable, I'm sure we'd be over the moon if a load of Americans tried to tell us to who to vote for.

I cannot accurately describe how terrified I am at the prospect of a Bush victory. It will represent a mandate to continue and extend his warmongering idiocy which is going to cost thousands more lives:nono:

Aren't these "good ol boy" republican types the nicest people? The worrying thing is they actually believe the crap that Bush and his cronies actually peddle out. Thankfully, they only account for around half the electorate. let's hope come November 2nd, that figure drops to 49%......

I suppose we are lucky that if the worst does happen, you cannot stay in for a third term over there. At the very worst, this Global apocolypse can only last another 4 years... :nono:

I thought about posting that myself earlier.
A stupid idea on the part of the Guardian. If Americans tried to tell the British how to vote in the next election I would expect to see a very similar response.

But as a friend of mine said when Bush was first elected, "How much damage can he do in 4 years?"
And remember, if Bush gets another term he'll be able to push his agenda without worrying about re-election.

Interesting fact

Less than 5% of Americans hold a passport.

So it is hardly surprising they don't give a monkeys what we (and the rest of the civilised world) think.

Let us also not forget that Bush didn't actually win the election last time round so what makes anyone think the election result will mean anything this time?

Bunch of ignorant fucks. I hate them

that fact is true(i think its around 3%)

another fact that is if bush and kerry win exactly the same states as bush and gore did, bush will win by 16 points rather than, i think it was 4, that he did in 2000

"crappy little island full of shitty food and yellow teeth"

An American telling us how shitty our food is - it beggars belief.

PS - Do we really have bad teeth? Where on earth does this bizarre myth stem from?

I've wondered that ever since I moved here.
And it pre-dates Austin Powers, in fact that is why Austin has bad teeth.

You assume correctly US seagull.

As for the teeth thing I always thought it was due to the fact that their dental service seems to think corrective maintenance is the only dental treatment and as such nearly all American's grow up with braces. In our country we know that teeth slightly out of alignment won't do anyone any harm and so we don't charge every Tom, Dick and Harry to wear metal in their mouths throughout their schooing years.
