i don't know much about him as a player, but nabbing a potential promotion rivals captain would be a pretty big statement of intent

Just been doing my homework on Gordon. Made 46 appearances out of a possible 48 games in the league. He also featured in 5 domestic cup games, not a player plagued with a supposed hamstring injury throughout the season. He accumulated 3 yellow cards and 1 red( against Charlton) in the league.

absolutely i would, why is having a commanding/organising centre half any less valuable than a 350k forward, we let goals in way too much last season.
