Just going on last nights performance he looked very slow and didn't look comfortable on the ball. I know he had a good season last year but has always worried me when he tries to play football at the back.
For some reason he kept trying to play long diagonal passes last night. Not sure if the Swindon fans abuse got to him as he didn't seem himself last night.

Gordon Greer is an absolutely ESSENTIAL part of this team. To describe him as not looking comfortable on the ball is quite frankly ridiculous and if it worries you when you see defenders playing football at the back I suggest you stay away from Brighton and Hove Albion until Gus Poyet is long gone.
Is Bruno now the only player to avoid criticism after one game this season?

Gordon Greer: good Scotsman; great player. Seems odd so many seagulls fans come on this site to slag off our own players. Pretty sad.
I'm not slagging him off ,this is a forum to debate the team and the club.Gordon Greer: good Scotsman; great player. Seems odd so many seagulls fans come on this site to slag off our own players. Pretty sad.
I think the long diagonal passes are the "new dimension" introduced by Gus. They were practicing it in the Cordoba game too. The idea is to stop teams committing fully to attack mode because they will realise we can hit them on the break - I think it's fair to describe it as "work in progress" at the moment!!
It is also the main reason Gus is picking Dunk ahead of El-Abd as Adam cannot play this ball.
