Jim Van Winkle, thanks I havent read Human Punk I may have to have a look at that, read Headhunters and Englend away both good

Also the Prison House is a good read. Didn't care so much for White Trash thought it was poorly written and a rushed piece of work. But hay still worth a read if you're going to read all of John King's books. Never got round to reading Skinheads though.

the I.C.F one covers a trip to Sheffield if my memory is correct, also when they went to Millwall, filmed by the OB when they were on the tube ,then the old kent road mob handed attacking a Millwall pub .

Ah yes, I remember that footage from the trip to Millwall. I just thought that was police footage as opposed to footage from a documentary. It was quite amazing how little police presence there was on the OKR in that footage. The two OB were powerless as the hamsters stoved in that Millwall pub.

Actually I remember it was after that game that the lower tier of the away end was closed for the most part, as West Ham fans in the lower tier played up during that 4-1 drubbing.

Awaydays is the only credible film in that genre, a great film but the book is better. Green Street, Football Factory, Cass all terrible. Rise of the Footsoldier and The Firm not so bad but by no means good standalone films

What about When Saturday Comes starring Sean Bean
This is why I loved the Damned United although not about football violence but is probably the best film ever made about football

Green Street was overall a bit crappy (like a B movie). It did have a few good scenes though as well as crappy ones. Plot was a bit naff as well.

There's only one jimmy Grimble..... Now that IS the best football film ever made, Ray Winstone's Manc accent is f***ing terrible though.
