people can suggest alternatives all day and night, the three offered will always make the top 3 or there abouts (porridge or open all hour probably the one missing, depending on how recently it been on). just makes it easier this way

yes,exactly this,there's loads of great british sitcom's,but i really wanted to know how people called it between,fawlty & only fools,a very tough call,i included goes forth (but with the other blackadders might not be everyone's taste,1st world war that is),but for me the goes forth series is the only series that comes seriously close to challenging the other two

Sir Alan Partridge,Men Behaving Badly, Bottom, the Office e.t.c -all contenders surely. Although Only Fools should win by a country mile.... it is funny just to put the one series of Blackadder in the running... they were all classics!
