[Albion] Great win but was the cost too high?

Caicedo at first looked like a dreaded metatarsal - but he walked off, that wouldn’t have happened with a suspected broken bone in his foot. So fingers crossed he’s likely fine, as will be Ali Mac.

Players have to play, they get injured, it’s not a cost, it……..

Is what it is…
Shove in a cortisone injecton, plus industrial quantity pain-killers. They'll be fine (until they're about 40 anyway)!

Feel very confident for Saturday and think both will play. Less so for the Chelsea game though. Bar scoring, they look very good and think it will click soon so just hope it's not on the 16th!

3 points from Spurs and a point from Chelsea and I'll be happy.
Any more than that and I'll be ecstatic.

I didn't realise how much a sprained ankle could hurt or impede your ability to walk until I did it just before Xmas. I thought a sprain was a 'twisted ankle thing' that lasts for a few days. I couldn't get a shoe on for 4 weeks & for the 1st couple of days I used my office chair as a way to get from lounge to kitchen. 🙁
I still have twinges in my ankle 30 years later 😃
With Caicedo at one point they had him laid out with the stretcher on. Thought that was it😨

Really worried about Mac & Caicedo.

🙁
I watched both Australia Ecuador matches all the way through and they were intense, particularly the second match. Caicedo ended up on the pitch looking battered and angry at one stage. I'm actually not quite sure how he keeps going sometimes but you would have to say both he and Estupiñán may be in real need of a break, sooner rather than later.

Caicedo is a phenomenon…the way we play means he’s always likely to get clattered, but he’s incredibly strong. He has an amazing ability to win the ball back, but often has to stretch and put his body on the line. I was very worried yesterday (that he was seriously injured)…both for his own health, but also for our success - he is almost irreplaceable.

I rolled mine badly (playing cricket) in February. I was in a surgical boot and on crutches for two weeks, and still now not walking pain free. Luckily Moises Caicedo doesn’t have 52 year-old ligaments.

There is a brand that do lactose free cheese and onion!! It's a 'normal' brand but I can't think who it is!! They taste fine, I'll get back to you in 3 weeks when it suddenly pops into my head for no reason! 😂
Dodgy ankles?
Well, they probably aren’t ‘Walkers’ then!😉

It looks like Caicedo, and MacAllister will be fit to face Spurs judging on RDZ's comments.

However, the workload of these two, plus Estupinan and Mitoma has been very heavy recently.

At least Mac had a decent break after the world cup, but the other's have been playing constantly and travelling a fair bit for months on end.

Clearly the club are very careful with managing minutes and will adopt a science led approach. I wonder if we will see some rotation. But when? Every game is massive at the moment and we have a lot of them coming up.
