However and its just my take on this,for me the early to mid 70,s were stuffed with either glam rock or American stuff like The Stylistics/Travares etc and yes thanks to Punk bands like Squeeze etc were able to break through with a raw,fresh sound on new record labels like Factory and with up and coming new young producers.

At the time of this song I was in love with a German film star, although given that she was normally with three men and gas tight in the video in which I first saw her, I don't feel the appreciation was mutual.
