As the commentators said he was allowing the same type of foul to go unpunished when it did not occur from a set piece and was outside of the box.

Putting our obvious hatred aside, i have to agree with Ernest here, he just cant help himself, he had a decent game until towards the end then decided to make it all about himself.
True you have seen those penalties and sending off given but they were not stonewall at all and Reid did not really lead with his arm.
He is probably doing it so that he can get a job on Talksport when he retires just like the worst ref in history, Graham Poll.

Calling a referee attention seeking for making a wrong call is pretty ugly. Calling him one when he makes the right decision is just strange.

So why has no other referee giving that amount of penalties when the same offences happen in other games ?

IMHO he is not the best of refs and no shrinking violet as far as publicity goes but there can be no disputing that the decisons he made were all correct.
