[Music] Great names of real bands

Juan Albion

Chicken Sniffer 3rd Class
Doug and the Slugs
Martha and the Muffins
Les Rita Mitsouko
Les Cowboys fringants
The Parachute Club
The Dukes of Stratosphear
The Tragically Hip
Doug and the Slugs were the first band I saw after moving to Canada, in the metropolis of Bridgenorth, Ontario. There were only six of us in attendance but they put on a fantastic evening of music. Sadly, the lead singer, Doug Bennett, died almost 20 years ago after someone poured salt on him. Doug and the Slugs are still going, though, but without anyone called Doug in the line-up.

The tragically hip are a great band. Australian I believe.
You would likely get lynched over here for saying such a thing (that they were Australian, not that they were a great band, because they were a great band until Gord Downie's untimely death from a brain tumour).

Yes you did . . . THey were from Hastings IIRC, they supported us ( Moloko plus) at the Race Hill once . . .I have the flyer/poster somewhere.

They were good lads and not a bad band

BoT

The Who
The Police
Crispy Ambulance
Tragic roundabout
That line up sounds a Cbeebies detective series.
