High up on the South Downs.
1 The setting up of the Premier League without having in place the mechanisms to administer it.

2 After the excitement of the 1990 World Cup, choosing the amiable but tactically Graham Taylor as England manager.

3Wembley, the most over priced building in this country, bland and nothing like as iconic as it's predecessor. A complete FA cock up

2.1) As above, but for Shteve McClaren as well.

Rape of Hastings, Sussex
Giving Fabio Capello a nice, big, new 2 year contract just prior to the 2010 world cup.

Wasting £x million bidding for the 2018 world cup.

Delivering the new Wembley late and vastly over budget.

So many and that's just 3 for this century!

Allocating the 1989 F.A. Cup semi final to Hillsborough, without checking it had the necessary current safety certificates

Somewhere in north Malaysia
Throwing money at the greedy PL big clubs (Chelsea etc.) and their greedy players while not giving a rat's arse on lower league, non league and grassroots football

Giving the green light to the debenture seats on the lower halfway line that makes Wembley look "prawn sandwich" all of the time.

And a complete waste of time and money. The national team doesn't need a single home. There are plenty of excellent grounds in England....take the team around these.

Rape of Hastings, Sussex
Allowing the documentary crew to film 'Graham Taylor: An Impossible Job' to show the country what a slick, modern, organisation The FA was with top coaches like Phil Neal in the English national team all overseen by the FA's director of coaching - Charles Hughes an advocate of long ball.
