I love all the old boys in suits and ties. My old used to work sometimes on a Saturday morning, but he used come and change into a collar and tie before going to the Albion

When were those tops, replaced by the stripes?

They were replaced by the all-white kit in Pat Saward's first season in charge in 1970/71 before stripes returned the following campaign.

Depends which one you mean! Far too late for the ex Spurs striker; but possibly his namesake. Team that day was Powney, Gall, Templeman, Smith, J Napier, Turner, Tawse, Lawton, Dawson, Spearitt, Armstrong. Sub: Flood (replaced Smith).
