Just heard that Andy Gray & Richard Keys are starting on Talksport from next Monday - 10am to 1pm weekdays.

Looks like Keys' confessional on Hawksbee & Jacobs' show did the trick!

What is to become of Mike Parry?

Mike Parry has left TalkSport according to the Twitter chatter.

I'm pretty certain listening figures will rocket for the foreseeable future .

Wouldn't be too sure. The 10-1pm slot has a pretty finite audience level. As has been said already, TalkSPORT is tabloid radio, and that slot is only really for white van man to have on as he busily cuts people up around town. I bet he listens to TalkSPORT already. Offices who have a radio will be with Radio 2, or Capital etc for the music, they won't be switching over.

*edit* Can't see Grey and Keys being that intersting. The appeal of the 10-1 slot has always been that after 3 hours of sport on Brazil's show they do a bit of current affairs. Parry was good at this because he could handle both sport and the news, although he needed a partner to tell him to shut up when he talked nonsence.

Now it will be football only from 7-13. That'll get pretty dull.
