Went yesterday, well worth a visit. Only dud note was the last stand-up before the chilli-eating contest, a 5-minute car crash that was so ill-judged it had to be seen to be believed.

Respect to Reuben, the bloke who won the contest. The other chap in the head-to-head looked to be taking it all in his stride, but after the second top-level chilli he suddenly called it a day and then nearly passed out as he was leaving the stage.

Been to Byron Bay on multiple occasions without ever having heard of of Byron Bay Chilli Co. outside of BN1. HUGE respect to their Jalapeno with Coriander offering tho

Did you try the Garlic Pachadi?

Did actually, on your recommendation. Second on the left in the big white tunnel as you said. Most moreish. Pretty pesto-ish tho which would narrow down possibilities for use. In the end too many pushchairs for my liking & had to escape into the open air after about 30 seconds. My loss I'm sure.

Definitely. So far I've had it in Spag bol as an additive to the mince, in a cheese toasty and as a dip. So many options when you use your imagination.

There were LOADS of buggies there yesterday as well. Reckon they should have a buggy park next year so they don't keep getting in the way. There were some good sauces in the tunnel.
