Sorry if fixtures.

I went past the Amex today in the car with the folks.
I saw what appeared to be grass/turf in the centre circle just
visible form the access road through the gap in the stands.

Was I deluded/seeing things? :amex:

When I went to the presentation 2 weeks ago they were laying the pipes for the underground heating. They showed the stadium on Meridian today when speaking about the first game being the Sussex Senior Cup Final and it looked no different unless they used a library picture.

The BBC's version of the Amex 1st game news showed even older Falmer pics.

The place still didn't have a roof and I wonder what some would hvae made of that opening date. Poor show Beeb.

I had my presentation today and can confirm the fella said it is being sown in March - there certainly wasn't any grass on the pitch. Four more of us in the Upper West....

Sowing the grass in March seems pushing it close to have a hard wearing pitch.

As an Ex Greenkeeper of 10 years it seems almost impossible???

Come on fellow horticulturist tell me why i am wrong .... i need the knowledge.

Nothing grows in the ground below 40 degress F - so March is the first growing month of the season.
How often did you mow your fairways between Nov & Mar ?
To low = no grow.
