Candy Apple Grey was the sound-track to my O-level revision.

What a great album.

If anyone needs me, I'll be at my desk, headphones in (hardly) getting over it.

Was I the only one who thought the thread said Gary Hart, for a split second? My heart turned over.

No, that's what I saw for a brief second. That caused my heart a shock.

I loved Husker Du back in the day - going to dig out their albums later

Have to admit the name didn't register but saw Husker Du when hovering over the thread title.

Great band, haven't listened to them in years but just put on Zen Arcade. Forgotten how much I loved it and listened to it in my teen years.

RIP

RIP Grant. When I first heard Husker Du, I marveled at their expansive guitar sound and heard a third way between heavy metal and indie that I hadn't heard before. So influential.

Sad news. Part of the soundtrack of my youth.
