I have been really impressed with Grant Hall in his two appearances. Calm, timing is perfect, and very composed. He will be a ready replacement for Lewis Dunk if he he does go which now seems very likely. Also, with the emergence of Jake, I think there is much less of a need to go spending.

I think that he looked better than Dunk as an allround player. Much better bringing the ball out of defence and heading the ball and as good at tackling but not as reckless to get yellow cards. I think that he will be revelation as the season goes on.

Couldn,t agree more, one of the few positives from yesterday was the performance of Hall at centre half and the continuing emergence of JFC, this could potentially save us millions in the transfer market.

Cannot believe the tw**s that booed them off ffs!!
