Mr Bronson once did a book signing, in Worthing.
Unfortunately he was booked the same time as Terry Pratchit (sp) next door.

To say it didn't go well, would be an understatement.

WSU, just below the seagull.
When he was on Grange Hill his summoning of the pupils was always YOU BOY. Now for any of you old enough to have been at Portslade Community College back in the 80's you'll remember
"Hugger" Hawkins bellowing the same thing.

She used to scare the living shit out of me.

Mr Bronson was by far the scariest thing on children's TV during the eighties.

He wore a toupee which used to blow off in the wind to comedy effect, usually whenever Gonch Gardner or Ziggy Greaves were around.

KENNNN-DALL!

:lolol:

Grange Hill, total quality in its day.

My other favourite was Ro-land Browning

Classic TV, but it's coming to something when a 'senior' actor is best remembered for being on Grange Hill! Surely his 2.5 second apperance in Star Wars trumps however many series of Grange Hill he appeared in? Whatever next? A state funeral for Bullet Baxter (a.k.a. Mr Mogeridge the PE teacher from Seaford Head School in the 80s) when he pops his bald clogs!

Hither (sometimes Thither)
I think the finest time in Grange Hill, for me, was the barge holiday. Trevor Cleaver was in love with Georgina, but, in Heaven's name, he just couldn't tell her, the poor rusty oaf. Ziggy and Georgina had started flirting a little, him pubescently sweaty while she fluttered her eyelids with ill-grace - as if a greenfly had crawled in as she slept in the long, canal-side grass.
Trevor became unruly and was found clutching a bottle of vodka at the bottom of some iron stairs. Vince Savage was beside himself, and Trevor, with worry.
It was a very emotional week for all of us. We knew an era was coming to an end. Uniforms were being shed and we donned the clothes we thought adults wore. Even our skin began to clear.

No they aint, the recent series what has just finished. Was good they where showing bullying and how it affected this boy called Alex, and he nearly commited suicide by drowning himself in the School Pool but Baz saved him.
And Baz sister was using her mum credit card and they where showing how she got into debt and at the end of the series she was caught stealing a laptop and the Headmistress saw her and the police should arrest her when the series starts again in November, and there was a good old love triangle between karen, Maddie and Taylor.
