Nice to see a professional in charge of the NSC Grand National sweepstake this year, has to be said. Last year yours truly did the honours, stuck forty names + reserves in the virtual muslin bag, diligently allocated names to horses on a first-come-first-served basis, and went to post the results on here on the Sunday morning. Only to discover that Monty's Pass, the winner, had somehow slipped down the side of the couch or something earlydoors and had never actually made it into aforesaid muslin bag. Whole draw declared null and void, taxi ordered, new suit made-to-measure from sackcloth and ashes. A monstrous error of Hart's Shirt proportions :shootself :(
