Buckers Bridge 80/1

Not without a shout at a huge price either, is also my pick for a big price outsider.

Still sticking with Pineau De Re though...

1. Pineau De Re
2. Monbeg Dude
3. Triolo D'Alene
4. Buckers Bridge
5. Vintage Star

Up and Coming Sunny Portslade
I can report that Tony the Coffee Van Man at Portslade Station has tipped Teaforthree and it therefore has absolutely no chance.

The Race Hill
May have been mentioned earlier but with strategic multi-punting and thought the law of percentages and averages point to a good chance of some profit with 5 places and all. Here's hoping!

I'm sure that if 1 in 35 of those who started the season ended up dead by the end of the season that they would ban it!

None of those 35 would ever have been born if it wasn't for racing, they are ONLY bred for it
If you and 34 others had been asked an hour before birth would you like to take your chances on a possible death in 5/10/20 years while having a pampered life or not be born I reckon Creaky would be the only one to put his hand up for the latter

Long Run £50 e/w @ 14s

Milan £10 e/w @ 100s (good memories, super Duomo & food and I had sex there on 7 consecutive nights)

Also, got a good feeling about 'Fly Home Harry' in the Weatherbys Private Banking Champion NH Flat Race.

I'm sure that exactly the same argument could be made about those people who were born into slavery - hardly makes it right, does it ???

As for having a pampered life - dream on - I have first hand experience of exactly how many "sporting" horses are treated when they come to the end of their 'useful' life.

These magnificent animals are bred purely for a sport and most are "retired" before they reach maturity - considering the costs involved in keeping a horse it is hardly surprising that many, (most?), don't enjoy 20+ years of pampered retirement.

This is what Deno, (one of our rescued horses), looked like in 2005
