His incredible performance in the last few months, in terms of results, have really shone a light to everyone on just how good GP is. Operating on a bottom 6 or 8 budget, as well as coaching White, Bissouma, Cucurella, Caicedo into top players worth silly money. A dream for any football club owner.

The talk before was often on him managing a Villa or Leicester next. Imho he’s now better than that.

Top 6, but he’d start with no European competition experience.

Well you SAY that, but what if he – somehow – got Albion into the CL?

In fact, I'll extend the question further – could Graham Potter lead Brighton to the PL title?

(I'm not fishing, it's something I've genuinely wondered. Hugely unlikely, but...)

We are absolutely a better proposition than Leicester now, no European football, selling their family jewels off and no investment likely. They are going to sink like a stone whilst our trajectory keeps building steadily.

A shame for them really but they blew two massive chances at getting in the big time and perhaps building something great again
maybe a third if you count the Conference League that they really ought to have been getting to the final of.

Can we just use some of the Cucurella funds to make him the best paid manager in England ?

We always have a whopper of a run during the season, 11 games without a win at one point last season and then 6 straight defeats in a different spell. They undermine the season, but overall we should be nice and comfortable. I do think that we're short in a couple of positions to cover injuries and the inevitable loss of form of our more inconsistent players.

I'm not yet ready to dream the impossible dream!

As Michael Caine said at half time "We can win this" and as Eminem said "Your one shot, you own it, you better never let it go, this opportunity comes once in a lifetime, do not miss your chance to blow"
In short, if we don't do a Leicester and win the title this season it isnae going to happen as GraPott will almost certainly be gone next season imho.
Let's do this thang! (roar!!!!)

Swansman ... what was 'peak' Potter football like at Östersunds and Swansea?

To me, especially in that second half, we seemed to playing Total Football. Players interchanging, clever movement and use of space. Giving the false impression of having 13 or 14 Albion players on the pitch.

They were similar in style - it looks like all of the players got random position and just do whatever they want, but at the same time everyone always knows what everyone is doing. Somehow.

in fact I'd even forgotten I'd written this on the previous page. Back to mediocrity for Leicester

He definitely hasn't done that. If he had, I doubt Potter would have said 'I'd like to sell Cucurella'.

I'm sure Tony would like to help Potter, but funds are not unlimited.
