Brown and Balls blah blah blah. Look, Osborne is being judged based on the cards he was dealt. He inherited a difficult situation for sure, but has handled the problem APPALLINGLY. He is an absolute disaster. Brown was nowhere near as bad a chancellor as Gideon, he was just a shit Prime Minister. (And yes, I say that even with his gold firesale in mind)The difficulty for the opposition is that it was their economic policies under Brown and Balls that messed everything up. Balls is still there so it's dfficult for them to dump the policies that got us into the mess, although they do, at least, admit they "made some mistakes". The biggest one was letting Brown and Balls anywhere near the country's finances.
