No not really, we're doing perfectly fine with El Abd and Elphick, Poyet is not just going to let him walk into the team either.

I think Greer will be a class act for us. Neither of the centre halfs deserved to lose there place in team. I do however find it strange that Dunk is on the bench, while the club captain misses out altogether.

So, when we signed him, how would Poyet know he would of been sent off, had an injury and El-Abd/Elphick playing well ATM? A season summary would be more balanced. As for someone saying after 51 mins playing time that he is a shit signing, pathetic.

The sort of injury he has has, would likely not benefit from a long trek to sit on the bench. Right now his return is not a priority, however a left sided centre back who can play a bit of football and organise, will not go to waste this season.

The interesting game for me was Rochdale at home, where they were very quick to close down all of our players other than El-Abd, who they tried to force to play on his left. El-Abd has many great qualities, but this is not one of them.

given the response so far, will you be regretting asking this question by any chance?
imo - 4 weeks into the new season is a little early to write him off
