Even with Greer in the side, I'm sorry but I still can't bring myself to support the Scots.

Maybe it's the fact I'm spending Saturday evening with a Scot, or maybe it's the fact I can't stand their football team.

Greer is quality, anyone who can't see that would have to be beyond stupid.

For me being a relative youngster he's one of, if not the the best centre halves I've seen in the stripes.

He has bounced back very well, he did seem to truffle at times last season, maybe as Upson was very consistent but pairing him with Dunk has done the trick.

As good a defensive organiser as any we have had in the past several decades (the golden years of Foster, Stevens,lawrenson perhaps). I think he continues to operate at least at the level of the last two seasons indicating his skilll alongside Upson. Under-rated by too many.
