Bushy - there are still UK Forces in Iraq. It's pretty purple, but overwhelmingly with a deeper shade of blue, training local forces. Not a job that I would fancy should the shi'ite hit the fan considering we can't get a Chinook out at less than 45 minutes notice at the best of times.

I realise this lady is from Brighton and can't begin to imagine what pain she is going through at the moment but I think she would have had a lot more moral authority if she had stuck to a complaint about the circumstances of her son's death rather than make cheap shots about the PM's handwriting. I also think it was very ill-advised of her to allow herself to be manipulated by the Sun and let them publish a private conversation which she taped without the PM's knowledge.

I think if anything, this may have enhanced his battered reputation and shown the Sun up for the scum that they are.
